LINEAPELLE’s international journey towards the Milan edition next September confirms the ability of the event and its global network to interpret the needs of the fashion and design industry, providing international markets with a platform capable of supporting the creative and manufacturing evolution of the supply chain.
MORE THAN 1,000 EXHIBITORS CONFIRMED FOR LINEAPELLE MILAN
LINEAPELLE LONDON took place on 30 June, bringing together a selected group of manufacturers of leather, fabrics, innovative materials, components and accessories at its traditional venue, the Ham Yard Hotel. The tour then moved to the Metropolitan Pavilion in Manhattan on 15 and 16 July, where LINEAPELLE NEW YORK attracted significant interest from the North American market.
Attention is now fully focused on LINEAPELLE MILAN, scheduled to take place from 15 to 17 September 2026 in the halls of Fiera Milano Rho. With almost two months to go before the opening, more than 1,000 exhibitors have already confirmed their participation. This figure reflects the event’s international leadership and the confidence that the supply chain continues to place in LINEAPELLE as a key platform for business, networking and product development.
In line with this mission, LINEAPELLE 108 will take place alongside Simac Tanning Tech, the leading international trade fair dedicated to machinery and technologies for the footwear, leather goods and tanning industries. LINEAPELLE will also once again host FILO, the international exhibition dedicated to yarns and fibres, within its exhibition spaces.
TALKS AND INSIGHTS
Alongside its exhibition offering, LINEAPELLE will present an extensive programme of talks, meetings and discussions dedicated to the key issues currently redefining the future of the fashion industry: innovation, sustainability, artificial intelligence, materials research, traceability, evolving markets and new creative perspectives. Among the talks already confirmed is “The Rebellious Surface: Leather as an Evocative Material between the Fashion System, the Collective Imagination and Urban Legend”, curated by Antonio Mancinelli, writer, lecturer and fashion critic; Ida Galati, fashion teller; and Rebecca Baglini, CEO of StyledbyMe.

“Make Way for the Young” will feature a conversation between journalist Mariella Milani and emerging designers Leonardo Valentini of LEONARDOVALENTINI, Angelo Cruciani of Yezael, Simone Botte of Simon Cracker and Flora Rabitti of Florania.
ICEC – Institute of Quality Certification for the Leather Sector, UNIC – Italian Tanneries and Sant’Anna School of Advances Studies (Pisa) will also lead an in-depth discussion on European Union Directive 2024/825, introduced to combat greenwashing and protect consumers. In Italy, the directive has been implemented through Legislative Decree No. 30/2026, which will become fully applicable at the end of September.
PROMPT – SEDUCTIVE ALGORITHMS
One of the central moments of the exhibition will be the presentation of the Autumn/Winter 2027/2028 trends developed by the LINEAPELLE Fashion Committee and brought together under the stylistic concept Prompt – Seductive Algorithms: The Illusion of Sweetness.
Prompt is not simply a trend forecast, but a research journey that interprets contemporary change through materials.
The project investigates the relationship between sensory stimuli, perception and desire, examining how everyday life is increasingly shaped by a sequence of micro-experiences capable of influencing emotions, behaviours and creative processes.
This reflection has led to research identifying colours, surfaces, textures, finishes and materials as the season’s new expressive codes, providing companies throughout the supply chain with practical tools for developing products and collections.
After being presented during LINEAPELLE’s international roadshow and at the London and New York events, Prompt will reach its fullest expression in Milan, becoming one of the principal sources of inspiration for designers, style departments and international brands.

At the same time, the event is preparing to extend its reach beyond the trade fair itself, bringing the tenth edition of LINEAPELLE DESIGNERS EDITION into the city of Milan during Milan Fashion Week.
The project promotes leather and supports emerging talents in style and fashion. Its programme will include nine fashion shows, taking place from 23 to 25 September at the Leather Fashion Hub in Piazza Tomasi di Lampedusa, as well as five brand presentations to be held at Spazio Lineapelle from 22 to 26 September.
