BUYER GROUPS FROM LATIN AMERICA AND TURKEY AT INSPIRAMAIS

The 34th edition of INSPIRAMAIS will host 22 international buyer groups invited through Brazilian Materials, an internationalization program carried out by the Brazilian Association of Companies of Components for Leather, Footwear, and Artifacts (Assintecal) in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil). Originating from Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, and Turkey, these importers annually manufacture 19.56 million pairs, and are some of the main players in their respective markets. With 150 exhibitors, INSPIRAMAIS will receive more than 7,000 visitors on July 7th and 8th, at the Pro Magno Event Center, in São Paulo/SP.

Registration for companies interested in participating in business rounds with the importers is limited and is open until June 15th. Luiz Ribas Júnior, International Market Manager at Assintecal, states that each meeting will last 20 minutes on both days, taking place from 10 am to 3 pm. Each registered company will be able to participate in rounds with all invited guests throughout INSPIRAMAIS. “Last year, we had over R$ 40 million negotiated during the event,” he highlights. In this edition, Ribas Júnior emphasizes the participation of major importers and an important distributor from Colombia.

During the two days, the invited groups will seek business with manufacturers of:

  • adhesives and glues;
  • high-frequency ornaments, transfer, screen printing, labels, and hot fix;
  • metal ornaments;
  • plastic ornaments;
  • ready-made uppers, finished cuts;
  • leather;
  • elastic, laces, zippers, and velcro fasteners;
  • technical accessories (eyelets, handles, pulls, staples, rivets, etc.);
  • threads;
  • shoe lasts;
  • insoles;
  • toe puffs and counter stiffeners;
  • chemicals for footwear;
  • heels and soles;
  • fabrics;
  • among other products.
