BAREFoot Annouces Second Edition

BAREFooT European Shoe Fair strengthens Europe’s barefoot shoe community The world’s largest platform with international appeal, a specialist programme and a great community spirit The BAREFooT European Shoe Fair continues to grow and, with its second edition, is establishing itself as the world’s largest hub for the international barefoot shoe industry. With over 100 brands from Germany, Europe and other international markets, the trade fair will once again bring together manufacturers, retailers, industry experts and the growing community of barefoot shoe enthusiasts – whilst also benefiting from its excellent location in Offenbach, in the heart of the Rhine-Main region. On 24 and 25 July, the event is open exclusively to trade visitors from the retail and industrial sectors. On 26 July, BAREFooT will also open its doors to members of the public, thereby creating a unique platform for exchange, inspiration and visibility across the entire industry. There will be no sales to the end consumers. The trade fair positions itself clearly as a specialist event for barefoot shoes, with significant relevance to the European market, and as a key platform for innovation, networking and development within the sector.

Trade fair with a clear focus on retail and industry trends A key component of BAREFooT is its targeted approach to stationary shoe retailers. The aim is, in particular, to generate enthusiasm among German retailers for the barefoot footwear segment and to support them in expanding their product range in a sensible, contemporary and cost-effective manner.

The trade fair is expressly not intended to be a sales event. There will be no direct onsite sales of products to end consumers. Instead, the focus is on information, networking, brand presentations, ordering opportunities and establishing lasting business contacts. The BAREFooT European Shoe Fair aims to help dispel existing reservations and clearly highlight the sector’s particular strengths. The focus is on quality, expert advice, health awareness, natural movement and a modern lifestyle approach. Community, inspiration and sharing knowledge In addition to professional networking, BAREFooT places a strong emphasis on the unique community spirit of the barefoot shoe industry. A varied programme is planned, featuring workshops, talks and networking events, designed to foster inspiration, exchange of knowledge and new collaborations. In addition, Messe Offenbach is inviting exhibitors and trade visitors to a joint after-work party with a DJ, where food and drinks will be provided for free – as a relaxed way to round off a busy day at the fair and to further encourage personal interaction.
