 ILM: Orders, Networking and Internationality in the spotlight

mix of bags, accessories and luggage. New, exciting labels are presented in Offenbach along with well-known names from long-standing exhibitors and internationally popular lifestyle brands.

The ILM is essentially a work and order platform. But dealers and exhibitors also like the attractive framework programme. Alongside the daily trend presentations and fashion shows, networking is a central aspect in Offenbach. In addition to the usual chill-out party on Saturday evening, this year there will a new event, a "Get-together" on Sunday evening. This gives exhibitors and visitors the chance to meet and chat in the lobby for an "after-work drink" at the end of a successful day at the fair.

The fair catalogue can be ordered from Messe Offenbach about two weeks before the fair for a dispatch/handling charge. The catalogue is available free of charge at the trade fair.

The ILM Winter Styles 2019 will be held in Offenbach from 16 to 18 February 2019. Thus, the international Leather Goods Fair is opening its doors three weeks earlier than usual for the 2019/20 ordering season. This was a conscious decision. Managing director Arnd Hinrich Kappe is sending out positive signals to international customers: "We are expecting a lot of visitors at the ILM Winter Styles from the leather goods, footwear and textile sectors in over 50 countries and we want to offers all our visitors the very best conditions.”

The ILM dates were fixed in close coordination with all the major domestic and international trade fairs for the industry. Mr Kappe stressed: "We planned the fair dates to link in with the major international footwear fair Micam. This will save buyers from overseas a lot of time and money when planning their trip to Europe.” There are only two days between the end of Micam and the start of the ILM in Offenbach.

Around 300 exhibitors from over 25 countries will be presenting their new collections for 2019/20 at the ILM Winter Styles. Once again, the 13,000 square metres of exhibition space are fully booked for the forthcoming fair. The success of the ILM stems from its international
